We offer chocolate making seminars, chocolate tastings, chocolate and wine pairings, even chocolate and beer pairings!

We specialize in signature flavors and custom packaging! Going to Maui for the honeymoon? How about tropical truffles: mango, macadamia and white chocolate.... A quiet retreat in the country? Maple and rosemary-lavender, of course! The possibilities are endless!!

Who are we?
Chopping Chocolate Welcome to the Chocolate Lab - we’re glad you found us, and we look forward to joining you on our experiment!

What are we? A chocolate shop with a difference. Sure, we sell chocolates - handmade truffles, exotic bars, addictive hot chocolate. We also sell small-batch coffees and teas - the best you can find anywhere.

But we are something more.

We’re a community - of food nerds, of people with tastes both refined and eccentric, of the curious…and of those who JUST WANT SOMETHING SWEET! We invite you to join us! We want you to help us grow and evolve by attending tastings, by voting on flavors new and old, by suggesting new products for us, and lots more.
Where are we? We’re in the Village Kitchen building in the Viewmont neighborhood of Hickory NC, on Hwy 127/N Center Street. At 2220 N Center Street, the Village Kitchen is a green stucco building across from Udderly Delicious Ice Cream and next to Dante's Pizza. How to find us.
